Mga Kababayan! Welcome to United Filipino Communities of Scotland(UFCScot).
UFCScot is the Umbrella Community of peace loving, productive and responsible Filipino living in Scotland. We are non-political, non-religious and non-sectarian organisation.
ABOUT US
The United Filipino Communities in Scotland are Filipino leaders who belong to various Filipino organisations, who have experience in running an association. The UFCScot was set up to promote better community relations between Filipinos , Scottish and other nationalities who would like to join us.
Equally to promote the Kultura Pilipino Workshop and encourage the continuance of Filipino culture and language; maintenance of the Filipino heritage and tradition among the Filipino communities in Scotland mixing with the Scottish values and culture wherever appropriate.
UFCScot "Filipino Art Developement project and Sport ( Basketball) aims to engage with residents and community groups to raise awareness of the benefit of Filipino arts, folk dancing and basketball sport, enhance the quality of life of local people, including their health,cultural and educational opportunities.
We, UFCScot firmly believe that with our association, it will enable local people from Highlands to Lowlands to learn new skills with our Multi Cultural Pilipino arts as well as promoting and increasing social cohesion.
VISION
Our vision of confederation is to have a Filipino community united in a common goal of helping each other to achieve harmonious and productive life in Scotland. And to promote peace and unity not only for Filipino but also to the British Community.
OBJECTIVES
A dynamic responsive and unified UFCScot is committed to serve its members through increased benefits, enhanced professional development, and the promotion and defense of the rights and privileges of the Filipino living in Scotland.
