BATANGAS ASSOCIATION UK
The Batangas Association UK will be celebrating its 17th Anniversary in October this year.
BAUK was organised in 1993 and has been growing steadily through the years. From its humble beginnings of simply providing a social outlet for the many Batangenyos in the UK, the association has embarked on a continuing outreach program to help our less fortunate kababayans back homemedical missions to far-flung areas of the province, distributing food hampers in times of calamities and every Christmas (Alay Pasko), donating books and school desks to needy schools.
The latest projects of the association is to provide assistance to the Bahay Ampunan Foundation in Tanauan, Batangas which provides accommodation and care for homeless elderly persons. Now that we have finished building the compound's perimetre fence for the security of its residence, we hope to fund the construction of additional rooms in the future.
