The Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. (PJPS)

The Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. (PJPS) is a non-stock non-profit organization and an apostolate of the Society Jesus that advocates a more humane approach to the rehabilitation of prisoners. Since its onset in 1994, PJPS has developed a strong track record as a competent and effective agent in promoting a more humane prison community. We are able to do this only through the support of friends, donors and benefactors who hear the words of the Lord, for I was in prison, and you visited me.

Following the idea of bayanihan, we invite you to help us raise needed funds in order to support our different projects and activities. Enclosed is a brochure that explains our programs and services. Primarily, we would like to pool together enough funds to support the education and formation of about 120 scholars, from Grade School to College, until they finish their studies and change the course of their respective lives. Our goal is to to raise about Three Million Pesos (PhP 3,000,000.00) yearly to ensure the continuity of this program alone.

In line with this, we would like to invite you to a benefit concert entitled Beyond Bars, this coming April 28, 2012 at the Insular Life Auditorium, Insular Life Corporate Center, Filinvest, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. This will be from 3:00 to 6:00p.m. The event aims to gather old and new friends in mission in an afternoon of music (with Fr. Manoling Francisco & Koro Madrigal) and worship (anticipated mass) to fan the flame of compassion and generosity. We hope you could join us in this undertaking.

For further inquiries, please feel free to contact us in the contact details listed below; we will be more than glad to assist you. You may also visit our website for more information.

Thank you very much and may you be rewarded with great consolation in your generosity and self-giving.
