The band Ooberfuse, a London-based electro-pop band, has dominated the stage in front of Pope Benedict XVI and two million pilgrims at World Youth Day in Madrid.

Their song Faith in You was the UK winning entry to the World Youth Day song contest. Hal St John, one of the the musicians in Ooberfuse says: We had just finished playing our song Faith in You on the papal stage to a gathering of 2m people from around the world when to our immense surprise and overwhelming delight the guys in charge of all the footage and music starting playing another one of our songs called Unshakeable (hear it on www.ooberfuse.com - link below) through the monster PA system. It sounded totally awesome!'

Cherrie Anderson adds, But not only did the technicians play it once: they played it six times to get the crowd going. You cant imagine what its like to see so many young people clapping and dancing to Unshakeable. We were interviewed by EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) and the song is being pushed as the WYD11 soundtrack for English speaking pilgrims, We are truly blessed!'
