Social sharing

Just been thinking today that 2012 has really gone ever so quickly!!!

Thought I would write a blog about the continued journey of

I first launched my website in July of 2009, with the help of Michael Duque who created the first design based on my idea I had earlier that year. My logo was created by Laling Ramos which I am still using today and am very grateful for.

For the last 3 years now, I have been advertising and promoting Filipino events, not only from the UK but also around the world. Thanks ever so much to the Philippine Embassy in London, many organisations and so many others who have helped along the way.

Particular mention must go to Mark Villarosa for having the vision to progress the site and give me very helpful advice. Thanks also goes to Royal Brunei Airlines for your support over the last 12 months. Thanks so much to Andrea for all your work with this. was and still is a community site and is for the benefit of the Filipino community around the world, if you would like to list a particular group or event please get in touch. Thanks also to Michael Franklin of Litestudio82 for all your support and tireless efforts in designing the updates and your amazing ongoing support. Thanks also goes to Philippine Generations, The Philippine Centre and countless others for all your help.

Thanks so much also to our first ever community group, The United Filipino community Scotland, Alex Pullan and Vicky for being a part of the site from the start.

Finally a special thanks goes to Cecile Santos, cultural officer at the Philippine Embassy in London for your tireless efforts in keeping the Filipino community in the UK updated with pretty much every event over the last 3 years!!!
